The 2022 Jeep Cherokee and 2022 Jeep Compass have a lot in common, but they also have several differences. The Cherokee offers a standard 3.2-liter V6 24V VVT engine with the option of an available 2.0-liter I4 DOHC DI turbo engine, while the Compass has one engine option, the 2.4-liter I4 Zero Evap MultiAir® engine. But even though these engines are different, they offer the same Engine Stop/Start (ESS) technology, which means that the engine turns off when you come to a complete stop and starts up again when you release the brake, saving on fuel. You can see that the Compass has a lower starting MSRP than the Cherokee, and while the Cherokee is longer in length and offers more rear legroom than the Compass, the Compass offers a bit more cargo volume. Both models can tow up to 2,000 pounds and offer an available Premium Alpine® Speaker System and an available dual-pane panoramic sunroof, but if you want available wireless charging, only the Compass offers this convenience.

No matter what you decide, either of these SUVs makes an excellent choice for an exciting adventure! The best way to find out which one is right for you is to take both for a test drive. If you have further questions, the team here at Joe Cooper Dodge of Shawnee would love to answer them.
